UL Research Institutes (ULRI) launches new digital repository with Figshare to enhance the discoverability of its research outputs

Figshare, a leading provider of repository infrastructure that supports open research, is pleased to announce that UL Research Institutes (ULRI) has launched a new Figshare-powered digital repository to make non-traditional research and educational outputs citable, shareable, and discoverable.

“The launch of ULRI’s digital repository showcases our commitment to open science. By offering curated access to a comprehensive array of digitally accessible materials resulting from our research and outreach activities, we facilitate the dissemination of the knowledge we generate. This initiative also accelerates advancements by others who can build upon our work,” stated Christopher J. Cramer, interim president and chief research officer at ULRI.

Mark Hahnel, Figshare Founder, said: “We’re excited to be collaborating with UL Research Institutes and to support them with making its research outputs more discoverable, ultimately expanding the potential for re-use and making a greater impact.
